This was my first purchase for a waist trainer and I couldn't be happier. I'm 5'2, 180-200 lbs and ordered a 2XL. I also wear size 18 jeans in case that also helps anyone. I wore it to work and had no issue with it, it isn't too restricting, had no problem lifting or bending over. If anything it's way easier to bend over than I'd originally thought it'd be, it just bends with you. I have to put it on the smallest hook so I could probably get a XL and use the biggest hook and work my way down as well.
For those of you afraid of getting the wrong size, I simply put a tape measurer around my waist above my navel and did it as tight around me as I could without it being too tight and guesstimated the number and ordered the one my number fell under.
The hooks are good value and the fabrics it's made of is a perfect combination to make it feel nice against your skin.
My ONLY complaint is that even though I have a small torso it could be SLIGHTLY longer just by like half an inch but it's perfect regardless.

This waist trainer is very comfortable and the price is excellent. I've used other waist trainers before that are very uncomfortable and impossible to workout in. But this one is great!

As soon as it I opened the packaging I was impressed . It was stored in a nice ziplock type bag with instructions printed on it. When I actually felt it I was even more impressed . Extremely thick material nice weight to it . The hooks are so nice and spaced out well . Very comfortable to wear . I wear it at work for my entire 12 hour shifts no issues . I've also Used it for workouts . The color is very vibrant . Stiching looks nice and sturdy. I purchased a medium and I was actually able to hook it to the second set of hooks and I felt I could go to the third . so my second day I tried the third set of hooks and that's where I've left it at and been wearing it . I will use this for a few months and then will move on to a small .

This is definitely a quality product. The sizing is different than clothing sizes though. I usually wear a M, 5'3 143lbs. So I ordered a M and it was too small, if you're a little thicker in the mid section (I have 4 children and 41 so I'm hoping to get my waist back lol) it's a good idea to order a size up. I'm going to return it but I already ordered the replacement in a size L . I can't wait to try it out!

After one week of wearing the medium I'm ready for a small. At first it's a little difficult to close, I'd recommend wearing it overnight for a week to allow your muscles to learn to conform with the shape. I'm really happy with the product, although I wish I would have bought a brighter one because it's very noticeable under teeshirts. Love it.

Buying something like a waist trainer online can be super tricky. I just decided to take a chance based on the reviews. If you are like me and looking to actually train your waist to be slimmer and more of a hourglass shape I would recommend going a size smaller than your shirt size. It may seem impossible to get in at first but that's what you want. Your best bet is to lay down while fastening it. I also fold the fabric under on the side with the open metal parts are (not the hook side ) It helps you get a better grip and gets the fabric out of the way.
If you are just looking to appear smoother in your clothes get your actual clothing size or a size up.
Overall this is a great quality waist trainer better quality than some I've paid 60+ for. I'm excited to see results I've had it on for about 4 hours already and it's still reasonably comfortable. If it's helpful I'm 170 and 5'5 ... I ordered a medium :)
