I bought this petticoat to go with Pistachio Women's Sun Flower Flowing Knee Length Summer Dress which I had bought on Amazon, as well as other 50s style dresses that I want to buy. I will admit I love the 50s style of big poofy dresses, so I had some trouble deciding which petticoat to buy. I really wasn't sure if this one would add enough volume for my taste, but it seemed to be well liked, so I decided to try it. I have to admit, it took a little adjusting too, but I think this petticoat is just poofy enough to wear with a dress without making it look like a costume (although you could definitely wear it with a costume, I plan to use it for special occasion/church dresses). I did order the large of this petticoat, and I am 5'7 and weigh around 210lbs. I had debated which size to choose as I have been losing weight and wanted to get a size that I could continue wearing as I do so. I probably should have bought the XL as this was a bit snug on me, but the waist is stretchy so I can still wear it. If I did need to order another one, then I would definitely go up a size. Also, I noticed that most people said this is not itchy, which was really surprising considering that most petticoats tend to be itchy because of the fabric used. However, the lining on this one is really good at protecting your skin from the itchy outer skirt. I did notice that when sitting the lining can slip up enough to make the stiffer fabric brush your legs, but more than likely it would stay put better if I had purchased the correct size. I attached several pictures to give you an idea for how well the skirt actually works. The first is a picture of my dress without a petticoat, the second is the dress once I added the petticoat. Hope that is a helpful reference point! Summary: I think this was an excellent price for a lovely product! Now I can buy all the cute 50s dresses that I love so much but that only look right with a good petticoat. Well worth the money.

I ordered a SMALL...i knew what i was getting into (so to speak). VERY TIGHT. But thats the point. Im 5'2 130lbs. Ive got the mommy belly, which this hides perfectly. I highly recommend wearing panties- sheer underneath because the thong strap with the clasps underneath are going to bother... unless you wear a liner. I'm used to these fajas so i wore it ALL DAY! But usually its recommended to wear gradually...starting with the 1st day for a couple of hours...takes some getting used to....can take your breath away....so use with care. Wash lightly.. doesnt get dirty easy...

Love these petticoats! The sizing can be finicky, so I recommend checking the size chart and measuring yourself first. The top part is stretchy and it is possible to cut out the inner slip if needed.

I ordered my item last week and I just received it today!! Once I got the package open I put it on instantly and I must say its better then any other I've purchased. It's a struggle to put it on at first but it takes patience. Only thing I'm hoping now is that it work it's wonders and help me flatten my tummy!!

I bought this for my daughter to wear under a 50's style rockabilly dress, and it works perfectly for that purpose. It's a touch longer than her dress (which hits just above her knee), but she likes having that little bit of petticoat peeking out under the skirt, so that's not an issue for us. It provides just the right amount of poof to her 50's-style dress and she says it's more comfortable than she expected it to be.

First off let me say that the customer service from Camellias is excellent. I ordered this product and received the wrong item. I contacted them and within the day they had shipped out the correct item and even let me keep the other one. They provided fast service and a no hassle correction to the issue. Now on to this Seamless Firm Body Control Shapewear. It is exactly what I wanted. I need a little help with the firmness of my body and this bodysuit is just what I needed. I like shapewear that has shorts because I have the thighs that DO touch and after a short time in a dress gets very uncomfortable. This is the perfect length. It is also a breathable cotton material so it is cooler and much easier to pull up and down. With the lycra/spandex type material I was always sweaty and had to peel it off, praying I would be able to get it back up. This shapewear from Camellias doesn't stop with the awesome shorts but it travels farther up to cover my belly, hips, and yes, even my back fat! There are adjustable straps to keep the whole she-bang up and looking great. I like that it does not cover the chest so my bra can do the work it was made to do. The top of the bodysuit that stops around my chest has a rubbery strip to help hold it up and in place, too. All seams are smooth and comfortable. There is no uncomfortable digging from badly sewn seams. This is a great way to look more put together and less sloppy. I will be getting lots of use out of this with my fall skirts and dresses!
