I’m 5’8” and 135 pounds with an athletic body type so I wear shape wear to give me some more curves. I initially listened to reviews and ordered my true size which is a small and it was too loose to give me my desired effect. I sent it back for the x-small and it fit perfect. Once it’s on it’s super comfortable, I had it on all night and forgot it was even there. I think the people saying it runs small either aren’t used to wearing shape wear or don’t know their true size. It’s supposed to be tight and hard to get on or it won’t hold everything in lol. If you’re not used to wearing shape wear order your true size but if you wear shapers on a regular or semi-regular basis order a size down or you won’t get your desired effect.
