I don’t usually leave reviews but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shaper. Of course every shaper is uncomfortable to an extent but this is the first one I’ve found I can wear for long periods of time. It doesn’t push all the fat up to your shoulder and create the dreaded backboob. It also looks awesome under everything I wear! I would suggest ordering a size up. I normally wear a Large shirt so I first ordered a large but had to return for an XL.

I absolutely love this waist trainer. I own about 5 different kinds of waist trainers, and this one has to be my favorite. I received it yesterday 4/2/18 and the quality felt great, today 4/3/18 i used it at the gym to work on legs and it was great i got my sweat on! IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ANYONE WHO IS A BEGINNER at using waist trainers: - Yes you can wear the waist trainer to the gym but DO NOT do high volume cardio in the waist trainer, when your heart rate speeds up you start to breathe harder and your organs need to expand, wearing the waist trainer at this point is very dangerous and you can pass out. - You shouldn't do core/ab workouts while wearing the waist trainer and laying on the floor, as you can ruin the shape of the metal in the waist trainer and it would defeat the purpose of wearing a waist trainer to get into shape with no shape in the trainer. - Make sure you wear a t-shirt under the waist trainer as you sweat a lot when you work out and with no air flow through the waist trainer you can develop back-acne or even a rash.

For sizing, be sure to measure your actual waist (or where it should be) and then go by the provided sizing chart. When measuring your waist do not squeeze the tape measure too tightly. Pull it taught, but not so much so that you are squeezing fat in. Measuring in this way, mine fits tightly on the first hooks, and it is hard to clasp and zip. If you purchase based on the larger end of the waist measurment range listed, as I did, then lying down to zip helps. I wear this for several hours before a work out, but not during an actual workout (unless on the bike) because it is too tight and restrictive as of now. If you prefer that it not fit as tightly at first, order based on the smaller measurement listed within the chart size range. You want to be able to feel and move your stomach muscles during a workout, otherwise it’s counterproductive. Do not go by the size you usually wear. That has nothing to do with waist clincher sizing. I got the XL and I am a woman’s pants size 4-6 right now. It really depends on your waist measurement and the size chart only. If you normally can squeeze into a small size, but have a belly loop-over /pouch, that can put you in a size XL or larger waist trainer/clencher. So bottom line is, go by the size chart people! I own several waist trainers and this is the first one I have owned that is great not only under regular clothes, but under workout clothes as well to smooth your waist and stomach areas. This is not a traditional silky material trainer where you focus on the waist and lace tighter and tighter, this is for workout clothes or smoothing under regular clothes period. My favorite thing about this one is the outside rubber texture. My sung fitting yoga pants don’t slide down or under it! The rubber texture holds pants in place! I have worn it with a thin tank top under, or with nothing under it, either way works fine. If you wear with nothing under, a little essential oil rubbed into your waist & stomach areas can keep it fresh and hopefully speed fat burning. It’s thin and I love it!

I'm 5'5 135lb with a 29 waist and I went with the Large, but it's definitely too big for me (it barely provides compression on the largest hooks). I was about to return it when I saw that they are out of Mediums in the black peony style and chose to keep the large just in case. Excellent quality and I adore the sexy floral design! I just wish they would restock the other sizes!!
