Please please please don't think you can squeeze into a size smaller than you are. I'm 5'2 130lbs and bought this to firm my belly that is not firm itself anymore. I usually wear a size small in everything: not this time. When it came, I got it and was soooo excited to put it on and knock everyone dead. That did not happen. It looked a little small but I thought, well it's supposed to be so it squishes you all in. So I tried my best to shimmy my way into it from the feet up. Nope. I don't have a big butt but this devil garment sure made me feel like my boot was HUGE because I could not pull it past my hips. Ok cool, nbd I'll just pop this baby on like a shirt. Nope. I never thought I had wide shoulders till I put this she-beast on. Momma didn't raise no quitter, so I try from the bottom up again and I'm making progress. I somehow manage to get my sausage self into this vice and wow. It does not look good. Let me tell you, it is not the spandex, it is me. I do not fit in this. Then it dawns on me: I need to get out of this. I decided I won't pull it off like a shirt because I probably wouldn't be able to and my boobs don't need any torture. So I start to pull it down the way it came up. Nope. This baby just rolls into a constricting donut around my hips and I am stuck. It's not going up and it is not coming down. Instead it is turned into a tight roll that is stuck right under my belly and the top part of my butt. Man o man did I see the most heinous muffin top my pudgy self ever had. I'm starting to panic. I've been struggling with this demon for about 20 minutes and I have gotten nowhere. I am pulling here and squeezing there but this monster is not budging and it is starting to really hurt. I am now in a full blown sweat in my bathroom with no help in sight. I'm thinking I'm going to have to cut my way out because I'm starting to freak the duck out. I no joke took 40 MINUTES of wrestling and even cracked a nail wrestling before I finally got it off. I have no beef with this devil because she was only doing her job. She works and works well. I will be getting a bigger size because I see her potential. If all else fails I may just have to try to whip myself back into shape but if not, I could always go back to wrestlemania with this tough lady.

This was the less expensive of the two compression garments I purchased, and it fit better than the more expensive one. The more expensive one looked lovely and solid and excellent but was a couple inches too small, despite me doing the same research as I did when sizing this one (and the more expensive one looked like the crotch area would be moderately less comfortable, due to a wider gusset with a rigid bit for the hooks). I've now purchased another of this one in the same size (5'5 165 with a 35-36in waist - 3XL) - but I'm not looking to get, as you say, snatched back to a different size, just for post-surgical compression that doesn't cut off blood flow. If I were looking for something more in the I have no abdominal incisions and want a teensy waist I would choose a size down. Ok, my requirements when I was looking: 1) provides moderate compression - I'm not looking for complete squish because that cuts off blood flow to recovering tissues. So I sized appropriately based on the comments. Not looking to change my waist size, just make sure everything is held *firmly* in place. 2) something I can get into on my own while standing up without screwing up my incisions or performing yoga (that's where the front-close bit comes in) 3) something I can wear all day long 4) with a gusset in the crotch I can unclip so I can pee without taking the whole thing off. 5) that won't fall apart This met my first four requirements and looks solid enough on the fifth one. I like that the inner closings up the front are graduated, in that you can select the first hook or the second depending on how you want it to hold as you zip it up. I like the top hook & eye closure to keep it in place, and I like that the bottom crotch hooks are on a narrow gusset and likely won't chafe, as I need to wear this all day long. The top straps are adjustable and narrow enough to not show up, and the sides don't cut into me up top. All in all this is a very, very well-designed garment. When I got it I waited until morning on a weekend after my doctor said I had clearance to try different compression to try it on, and it fit perfectly. I'm going to wash it before I wear it for a full day - it comes out of the package smelling a bit like car tires. :) But it feels as though it will do exactly what I'm looking for. I'll probably wear it *over* a light cotton t-shirt and underwear most days to keep it off my incisions and keep it from getting too sweaty; this should minimize the wear and tear on it. Then I can layer my professional clothing over that. I will not be cold in the office for a while.... gonna have to be careful about overheating the next few summer months, I guess, and drink plenty of water. :)

I love , love , love this waist cincher. This is the second one I have purchased and its goes on and fits like a glove. My favotite thing about the cincher is it's steel bones I have had another one without the steel bones and I wore it for about a month and did not receive the resukts I wanted. This is the best cincher I've ever had. I even recommended it to a friend of mine.

Great waist trainer. I ordered a 6x and it is a little big, but most run small, so I ordered one size larger. These run true to size. I would recommend as a waist trainer not as a corset to wear under a dress though. Too bulky for that.

I have a 40in waist so according to the chart I’m supposed to be a 5xl I know I wanted it tight and and to actually clinch my waist so I ordered 2 sizes smaller and went with a 3xl. When I first got it I thought no way, eventually with the help of my boyfriend I got it on and now I wear it with no problem. I love the curves it gives me and it’s not too short. Makes any dress look 10x’s better.

I had to return this item because it was too small I needed up getting an xl I usually wear size medium or 8 in clothes it was hard at first to put on but after a few times wearing it it’s easier to put on definitely order up a few sizes

Es una buena faja pero yo fallé con la talla sera sudas mucho y eso es perfecto ayuda tus medidas pero yo la regrese porque a mi no me gustaba como se me ponía la parte frontal de mi parte me estorbaba mucho.pero es una excelente faja.

I do not write too many reviews but, this shaperwear works. So far comfy. Have to wear it all day tomorrow an if its really uncomfy I will write more. I am a size 16, with some mama pouch and some bulges. This works great with the dress I am wearing an a line dress. Hid the bumps that it needed to. Smoothed things out and stayed hidden under without being noticeable. For sure recommend this. This was the 3rd shapewear I bought to try with this dress. Will keep an wear with other outfits.
